Supported by Broadway Malyan, the WAF's Student Charrette offers
architecture students from around the world a unique opportunity to
present their concepts live to WAF attendees and a panel of expert
judges.
This year’s charrette is set to explore the dynamic
future of the built environment, perfectly aligned with the WAF
conference theme, ‘Tomorrow’. We were thrilled to receive a high
number of entries from student teams worldwide and are excited to
announce the eight teams that will be attending WAF:
- Queen's University Belfast,
Ireland
- Universidad Dr. José Matías
Delgado, El Salvador
- University of Dundee, United
Kingdom
- Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao,
Philippines
- University of Northern
Philippines, Philippines (Team One)
- University of Northern
Philippines, Philippines (Team Two)
- Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao,
Philippines
- University of the West of
England, United Kingdom
These talented teams will be provided with working areas
in the vibrant WAF Festival Hall and will showcase their final
concepts on Friday 8 November, to our distinguished panel of judges.
The winning team will be honored at the grand Gala Dinner, where they
will receive their trophy in front of an elite audience.
The WAF Student Charrette is just one of the many events
taking place at WAF Singapore later this year. Discover more about what’s happening at WAF 2024!
